I am organising an open (i.e. not just the Blackburn Branch) Stedman Triples confidence building session on the afternoon of Saturday, 15th February 2019. This is primarily intended for:

  1. people who can confidently ring Stedman Doubles and would like to move on to Triples, or
  2. people who can confidently ring plain courses of Stedman Triples and would like to sort out the bobs and singles, or
  3. people who would like to practise calling touches of Stedman Triples, or
  4. people that are really good at ringing and/or calling Stedman Triples and want to help.

The event will be at All Soul’s, Bolton on Saturday 15th February. Between 3 pm and 5.30 pm. If you would like to come along then please let me know. Please feel free to share the details with anyone you know who may be interested in coming along for the afternoon. Please contact Ray HutchingsThis email address is being protected from spambots. Ten Bell Practice

The practices are open to anyone that would like to come along and ring on ten. I allow for all levels of experience, so that everyone gets a chance to ring. Please feel free to pass on the invitation to anyone that you think would be interested in coming along for the morning.

I would be grateful if you could let me know that you are planning to come along. This is so I can keep you up to date on any changes and also so I can make sure we have enough people coming along on the day. I look forward to seeing you at the Cathedral.

Parking

There is limited parking available in the Cathedral Court when the gates are open, this is on an "if available" basis. The access is from Dandy Walk. Head south down Darwen Street and turn left immediately before the Postal Order ( J D Wetherspoons) just after you pass the Cathedral entrance. Access to Cathedral Court is via the iron gates on the left. However, Cathedral Court gets busy at times and we cannot reserve spaces. If Cathedral Court is full or the gates are closed, you will need to use the town centre car parks.

There are a large number of car parks in Blackburn town centre. Those closest to the Cathedral include Weir Street, Mill Lane, Fleming Square, The Mall, Fielden Street multi-storey and Morrisons. There is also a privately-owned car park next to Fleming Square. Please use the following website as a guide to the available car parks.
