The Lancashire Lads and Lasses
Young Ringers
The Lancashire Young Ringers hold regular practices which are specially arranged just for young ringers (under 19), whether they are members of the Association or not. The only requirement to come along to the meetings is that the young person can handle a bell safely independently. The sessions are well supported and are specifically structured to cater for all abilities.
Please encourage your young ringers to come along; they have the opportunity to meet with other ringers of their own age, to make new friends and enjoy the relaxed ringing atmosphere. Practices are held regularly and all dates are published on the LACR calendar.

RWNYC
As the practices move into the spring we will begin to select a team of 10 young ringers (8+ 2 reserves) to be the “Lancashire Lads and Lasses” team (3Ls for short) to represent the Association in the next Ringing World National Youth Striking Competition which is held every July. We entered this competition for the first time in 2019 in Liverpool and were delighted to come a very creditable 9th out of 24 teams at our first attempt. Visit the RWNYC website for more info.
