Ringing at St Mary and All Saints, Whalley is no longer
suspended, and will resume from Sunday 2nd April.

Please see the Blackburn Branch page for details of
the Ribble Valley Monday (mostly) practice night rota.

Cleator Moor bells will be removed from the tower early in April, following the closure of the church.

There will be ringing for all who would like to come on Sat 18th, 2-4pm . The bells are an easy-going, short draught, heavy eight (21cwt) with a most glorious sound. A real joy to ring!

There will also be ringing for the closure service the next day, Sunday 19th, from 9:15 to 10 am. At the service there will be a sort of handover, of a symbolic rope and the peal boards, representing the gift of bells to representatives from St Bridget's, Moresby, who will be having a newly cast light 8 installed in due course.

All ringers are welcome, but it would be helpful for Chris de Cordova to know how many to expect.
